AGAIN?!

Y'all. I-

All the industry stuff.

Up until recently, the soy wax market has been stable for a decade. AN ENTIRE DECADE. So what happened recently?

Well, the panini, of course.

It's brought on increased demand for soy-based products, including animal feed, cooking oils, and of course, scent products.

Adding insult to injury, dry weather conditions in prominent soy-growing regions have also resulted in a strain on the supply chain.

If you ever hear that everything is affected because of supply chains, believe me: EVERYTHING is affected.

This has also cause a rise in demand for biodiesels due to new laws and regulations that have been put in place.

According to two of the suppliers that I use, the prices of soy-based products are expected to KEEP increasing.

And I. Am. TIRED.

So what does this mean?

The same thing it meant 5 months ago.

My prices have to go up again if I'm to survive in this industry. And this time, it's candles AND wax melts.

I honestly should've gone with my gut back in June, but I didn't. And now I have to pivot again. My prices will still be the lowest I can possibly go while still staying afloat, and for now, the shipping prices won't change.

And I'm still gonna donate what I can every quarter.

So, when does the price increase take effect?

Today.

I figured there's no point in dragging it out or beating around the bush.

This being said, if you just so happen to check out and the price is still showing the current/not new price, I won't hold it against you and I won't charge you more.

I hate this, but change was always gonna come.

I hope this hasn't ruined your day too much. And thank you for supporting me. I really do appreciate you.
